              கடலூர் அ.தி.மு.க. சட்டமன்ற தொகுதியின் சார்பில் அ.தி.மு.க. அரசின் பட்ஜெட் விளக்க பொதுக்கூட்டம் கடலூர் முதுநகர் சஞ்சீவிராயன் கோவில் தெருவில் நடந்தது. கூட்டத்திற்கு நகர செயலாளர் குமார் தலைமை தாங்கினார்.
 
கூட்டத்தில் அ.தி.மு.க. கடலூர் கிழக்கு மாவட்ட செயலாளரும், சிறப்பு திட்ட அமலாக்கத்துறை அமைச்சருமான எம்.சி.சம்பத் கலந்து கொண்டு பேசியது:-
 
              நடப்பாண்டு தமிழக பட்ஜெட்டில் 3445 கோடி நிதி பற்றாக்குறை உள்ளது. ஆனால் கடந்த 2000-ம் ஆண்டு முதல்-அமைச்சர் ஜெயலலிதா ஆட்சியை விட்டு சென்றபோது கஜானாவில் இருப்பு வைத்து சென்றார். முந்தைய தி.மு.க. ஆட்சியில் கஜானா முழுவதும் காலி செய்ததோடு கடன் வாங்கி வைத்துள்ளார்கள். பட்ஜெட்டில் நாட்டின் முதுகெலும்பான விவசாய நலனுக்காக அதிக நிதி ஒதுக்கீடு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. மாணவர்களுக்கு இலவச லேப்-டாப் வழங்கும் திட்டம் உலக அரங்கில் பேசக்கூடிய திட்டமாகும். இந்த திட்டத்தால் மாணவர் வேலைவாய்ப்பு, பொது அறிவு தெரிவதற்கு மிகவும் பயனுள்ளதாக இருக்கும். இது முதல்வர் ஜெயலலிதா உருவாக்கிய திட்டமாகும்.
 
                 அடுத்த கட்டமாக இல்லத்தரசிகளுக்கு பேன், மிக்சி, கிரைண்டர் வழங்கும் திட்டத்துக்காக ரூ.1250 கோடி ஒதுக்கீடு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதனால் 1 லட்சத்து 83 ஆயிரம் பேர் பயன் பெறுவார்கள். அதேபோல் பள்ளி குழந்தைகள் முதல் ஏழை, எளிய, தாழ்த்தப்பட்ட, பிற்படுத்தப்பட்ட மக்கள் முன்னேற்றத்துக்காக தொலை நோக்கு பார்வையோடு பல திட்டங்கள் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. பெண்கள் திருமணத்துக்கு ரூ.50 ஆயிரத்துடன் தாலிக்கு 1/2 பவுன் தங்கம் வழங்கும் திட்டம், மகளிர் சுயஉதவிகுழுவுக்கு ரூ.25 லட்சம் சுழல் நிதி, திருநங்கைகளுக்கு ரூ.15 லட்சம் கடன் உதவி திட்டம் என எண்ணற்ற திட்டத்தை முதல்-அமைச்சர் ஜெயலலிதா தந்துள்ளார்.
 
           நடப்பு நிதியாண்டில் ரூ.36 கோடி செலவில் 12 ஆயிரம் பேருக்கு கரவை மாடுகளும், ரூ.134 கோடியில் ஒரு லட்சம் குடும்பத்துக்கு 4 ஆடுகள் வழங்கும் திட்டமும் செயல்படுத்தப்பட உள்ளது. இதனால் 30 சதவீத ஆதிதிராவிடர் மக்கள் பயனடைவார்கள். மேலும் தடையில்லா மின்சாரம் வழங்க சோலார் எனர்ஜி என்ற புதிய திட்டமும் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. தமிழகத்தை முதன்மையான மாநிலமாக மாற்ற வேண்டும் என்ற நோக்கத்தில் இதுபோன்ற பல திட்டங்களுடன் தலை சிறந்த பட்ஜெட்டை முதல்-அமைச்சர் ஜெயலலிதா கொடுத்துள்ளார்.
 
                 அ.தி.மு.க. ஆட்சியில் தமிழகம் அமைதி பூங்காவாக திகழ்கிறது. அக்டோபர் மாதம் நடைபெற உள்ள உள்ளாட்சி தேர்தலில் ஊராட்சி வார்டு உறுப்பினர் முதல் மாவட்ட பஞ்சாயத்து தலைவர் பதவி வரை அனைத்தும் அ.தி.மு.க.வுக்கே சொந்தம் என்ற சபதத்தோடு வெற்றி பெற்று முதல்-அமைச்சர் ஜெயலலிதாவிடம் ஒப்படைக்க அனைவரும் உறுதி ஏற்க வேண்டும். இவ்வாறு அவர் பேசினார்.

எம்.சி. சம்பத் சிறப்பு திட்ட அமலாக்கத் துறை அமைச்சராக மாற்றம்

          

             தமிழக அமைச்சரவையில் ஆறு அமைச்சர்களது இலாகாக்கள் மாற்றப்பட்டுள்ளன. மறைந்த மரியம் பிச்சைக்கு பதிலாக, சிறுபான்மை இனத்தைச் சேர்ந்த, ராணிப்பேட்டை எம்.எல்.ஏ., முகமது ஜான் புதிய அமைச்சராக நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்.

             தமிழகத்தில் அ.தி.மு.க., அமோக வெற்றி பெற்று, புதிய அமைச்சரவை கடந்த மே 16ம் தேதி பதவியேற்றது. முதல்வர் ஜெயலலிதா உட்பட, 34 அமைச்சர்கள் பதவியேற்றனர். அமைச்சர்களின் செயல்பாடுகள் கண்காணிக்கப்பட்டு வந்தன. துறை வாரியாக ஆய்வுக் கூட்டங்களையும் முதல்வர் நடத்த உள்ளார். இதுதவிர, பட்ஜெட் தயாரிப்பு பணியும் துவங்கியுள்ளது.

                  இந்நிலையில், அமைச்சராக பதவியேற்ற ஒரு வாரத்தில், சுற்றுச்சூழல் துறை அமைச்சர் மரியம் பிச்சை, சாலை விபத்தில் மரணமடைந்தார். இவர், இஸ்லாமிய சமுதாயத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவர். 

                 எனவே, அமைச்சரவையில் மற்றொரு இஸ்லாமியருக்கு இடம் கிடைக்கும் என பேசப்பட்டது. இதன்படியே, புதிய அமைச்சராக, ராணிப்பேட்டை தொகுதி எம்.எல்.ஏ., முகமது ஜான் நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்.

                 முதல்வர் ஜெயலலிதாவின் அறிவுரைப்படி, முகமது ஜானை அமைச்சராக நியமித்து, கவர்னர் பர்னாலா நேற்று உத்தரவிட்டார். இவரது பதவியேற்பு நிகழ்ச்சி, வரும் 29ம் தேதி காலை 10 மணிக்கு ராஜ்பவனில் நடக்க உள்ளது.

              புதிய அமைச்சர் நியமனத்துடன், ஆறு அமைச்சர்களது இலாகாக்களும் மாற்றப்பட்டுள்ளன. 

                புதிதாக பொறுப்பேற்கும் முகமது ஜான் வசம், பிற்படுத்தப்பட்டோர், மிகவும் பிற்படுத்தப்பட்டோர், சிறுபான்மையினர் நலத் துறை ஒப்படைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

             இந்த இலாகாவை கவனித்து வந்த சின்னையா, இனி சுற்றுச்சூழல் மற்றும் மாசு கட்டுப்பாட்டுத் துறை அமைச்சராக செயல்படுவார்.

               அமைச்சர் சண்முகவேலுவிடம் இருந்து தொழில் துறை பறிக்கப்பட்டு, சிறு தொழில் உட்பட ஊரக தொழில் துறை அளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

             ஊரக தொழில் துறை அமைச்சராக இருந்த எம்.சி.சம்பத்திடம், சிறப்பு திட்ட அமலாக்கத் துறை வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

                சண்முகவேலு வசம் இருந்த தொழில், இரும்பு கட்டுப்பாடு, கனிமங்கள் மற்றும் சுரங்கத் துறை, சிறப்பு திட்ட அமலாக்கத் துறையை வைத்திருந்த எஸ்.பி.வேலுமணி வசம் ஒப்படைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

             அமைச்சர் கருப்பசாமி வசம் இருந்த கால்நடைத் துறை, அமைச்சர் சிவபதியிடம் ஒப்படைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

                  சிவபதி வசம் இருந்த விளையாட்டு மற்றும் இளைஞர் நலன் துறை, அமைச்சர் கருப்பசாமி வசம் ஒப்படைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

              இந்த மாற்றங்கள் நேற்று உடனடியாக அமலுக்கு வந்தன.

Differently abled person gets tricycle within 3 hours of giving petition in Cuddalore

CUDDALORE: 

           A differently abled person, S.Ramachandran (29) of Periya Kumatti near here, who was discharged from the government hospital at about 1 p.m. on Saturday, was given a new tricycle within three hours of handing over a petition to the Differently abled Persons' Welfare Department here.

           Rural Industries Minister M.C.Sampath gave away the tricycle to him at an official function held here on Saturday. Mr. Ramachandran was given a tricycle two years ago, but, he was hit by a speeding motorcycle on June 21. He suffered injuries in the hands, legs and head. The tricycle was damaged beyond repairs. He was admitted to the government hospital here and discharged on Saturday.

        On learning that the Minister had come to distribute aid to differently abled persons, Mr. Ramachandran sent an application to T. Srinivasan, Welfare Officer for Differently abled Persons. His application was immediately processed and a new tricycle was brought to be given at a function that started at 4 p.m.

        Collector V. Amuthavalli said that for each of the nine Assembly constituencies, a sum of Rs. 5 lakh had been earmarked from the MLA Local Constituency Development Funds to procure aid for the differently abled. From the total amount of Rs. 45 lakh thus allocated, various aid such as tricycles, wheel-chairs, foldable wheel-chairs, calipers, artificial lamps, Braille watches, etc., would be given away to 1,166 beneficiaries at a cost of over Rs. 29.23 lakh, she said.

          As many as 160 beneficiaries in Cuddalore constituency alone would get assistance to the tune of Rs. 3.17 lakh. Mr Srinivasan said that the expenditure on the tricycle for Mr. Ramachandran was met from the general funds allocated to the department.

Cuddalore Underground drainage project to be completed by October: Rural Industries Minister M.C. Sampath

CUDDALORE:

         Rural Industries Minister M.C. Sampath told the presspersons here on Saturday that the underground drainage project, now being executed in Cuddalore town, would be completed and brought into use by October.

          After attending a review meeting on the progress of the works here, the Minister said that the pipe laying work would be completed by August-end and all the roads that were dug up for laying the pipeline would be repaired by the highways department by September-end. The strength of the workforce would be increased to speed up the execution and the contractors too had agreed to engage the labourers for extended hours to keep up with the schedule.

         The Minister warned of either penal action or imposing fine on the contractors if there happened to be a slippage in meeting the deadline. As for overcoming the impediments in the drinking water supply, the Minister said that fresh water sources would be identified and with the consent of the government, the new water project would be implemented. 

               About the formation of proper link road from Jawan's Bhavan and Khammiampettai, the Minister said that this road stretch was now under the jurisdiction of the Public Works Department (Water sources) and a proposal had been sent to the government in order to bring it under the purview of the highways department to take up the work in a speedy manner. District Collector V. Amuthavalli; District Revenue Officer C. Rajendran; Superintendent of Police P. Pakalavan; Executive Engineer (TWAD Board) Raghunathan; and Municipal Commissioner M. Elangovan were the participants.

Rural Industries Minister M.C. Sampath and Social Welfare Minister Selvi Ramajayam distributed Aid to differently abled

Improving lives: Rural Industries Minister M.C. Sampath and Social Welfare Minister Selvi Ramajayam giving away assistance to differently abled persons in Cuddalore on Saturday.

CUDDALORE: 

            Rural Industries Minister M.C. Sampath and Social Welfare Minister Selvi Ramajayam gave away assistance worth Rs. 4.3 lakh at a function here on Saturday.

               The aid included wheel-chairs to differently abled persons and marriage and educational assistance. Later, both Ministers held a review meeting with the officials and took stock of the performance of various departments. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sampath said that Chief Minister Jayalalithaa had been taking speedy measures for the implementation of the election promises. She had already issued orders in regard to promises, including the free rice scheme, enhanced compensation to fishermen and marriage assistance.

                Under the marriage assistance, the Chief Minister had been giving away Rs. 50,000 in cash and four grams of gold to women who had obtained degrees and Rs. 25,000 and four grams of gold to women who had completed Class X. Mr. Sampath called upon the officials to work with vigour to take the benefits of the welfare schemes to the poor and downtrodden. Ms. Ramajayam said that the Chief Minister had been considerate enough to fulfil the demands of people. However, she had been receiving many petitions seeking streetlights and water supply and it meant that block-level officials were still lagging behind in discharging their responsibilities.

                 Ms. Ramajayam urged the officials to work in such a way that the benefits of all government schemes reached the target groups. Collector V. Amuthavalli, District Revenue Officer C. Rajendran, and MLAs Sorathur R. Rajendran, M.P.S. Sivasubramanian, K. Balakrishnan and Murugumaran were present.

Underground drainage project to be expedited says M.C.Sampath

CUDDALORE: 

         Rural Industries Minister M.C.Sampath told presspersons here on Sunday that steps would be taken for the speedy implementation of all government schemes. As regards Cuddalore constituency, the works on the underground drainage project would be expedited and all pending projects would be completed in a time-bound manner.
