Cuddalore Sri Padaleeswarar Temple car procession held

CUDDALORE: 

         A large number of people from various parts of Cuddalore district congregated at Sri Padaleeswarar Temple at Thirupadiripuliyur here to witness the car procession taken out as part of the Vaikasi Visakam festivities on Tuesday. Collector V.Amuthavalli inaugurated the procession by drawing the rope of the car. Elaborate security arrangements were made in and around the temple. Fire and Rescue Services personnel were also deployed.

Passport Sevak Kendra buildings nearing completion

         Construction of buildings for Passport Sevak Kendra (PSK) offices are nearing completion, said C. Senthil Pandian, Regional Passport Officer, Chennai, here on Tuesday.

          Under the Passport Sevak Kendra, the Ministry of External Affairs had outsourced the collection and initial scanning work to the Tata Consultancy Services. The work of verification and granting passport would remain with the Ministry. In Chennai, three PSK offices will be set up in Tambaram, Vadapalani and Nelson Manickam Road. The office at Vadapalani is nearing completion and it will be ready in another 10 days. The Tambaram and the Nelson Manickam Road buildings will be ready in about 25 days.

          The office in Shastri Bhavan will be shifted to Rayala Towers on Anna Salai. The shifting of the passport office to the new premises would coincide with the commissioning of three PSKs in the city. The system at the old office would continue till pending applications were cleared. Unlike the existing system where soon after submitting the applications, the applicants could leave the passport office, in the new system the applicants had to wait till their certificates were verified, he added.

மத்தியப் பணியாளர் தேர்வாணையம் 1 லட்சம் பணி வாய்ப்புகள் வழங்க இலக்கு: என்.கே.ரகுபதி

                  நடப்பு நிதியாண்டில் (2011-2012) ஒரு லட்சம் பணியிடங்களை நிரப்புவதை இலக்காகக் கொண்டு செயல்படுவதாக மத்திய பணியாளர் தேர்வாணையத்தின் தலைவர் என்.கே.ரகுபதி கூறினார். 

 இது குறித்து என்.கே.ரகுபதி சென்னையில் திங்கள்கிழமை கூறியது: 

         மத்திய பணியாளர் தேர்வாணையமானது வேலையில்லாத இளைஞர்களுக்கு வேலை வாய்ப்பை வழங்க வேண்டும் என்ற நோக்கத்தில் ஆண்டு தோறும் அதிக எண்ணிக்கையில் பணியிடங்களை நிரப்பி வருகிறது.  கடந்த ஆண்டு நாடு முழுவதும் 68 லட்சம் விண்ணப்பங்கள் பெறப்பட்டு, 23 ஆயிரத்து 178 பேருக்கு பணிவாய்ப்புகள் வழங்கப்பட்டன. தென் மண்டலத்தில் அதாவது தமிழகம், ஆந்திர மாநிலத்தைப் பொருத்தவரை கடந்த ஆண்டு 3.8 லட்சம் விண்ணப்பங்கள் பெறப்பட்டன. அதில் 1,191 பேருக்கு பணி வாய்ப்புகள் கிடைத்துள்ளன.  இந்த ஆண்டு பணியிடங்களின் எண்ணிக்கை 1 லட்சமாக உயர்த்தப்பட்டுள்ளன. 

                எனவே இந்த ஆண்டு சுமார் 80 லட்சம் பேரிடம் இருந்து விண்ணப்பங்கள் பெற வாய்ப்புள்ளது. அகில இந்திய அளவில் சுமார் 15 லட்சம் பணியிடங்கள் உள்ளன. எனவே அடுத்த நிதியாண்டில் அதிகப்படியான பணியிடங்கள் நிரப்பப்படவுள்ளன. 

 10 ஆயிரம்...

                இந்த ஆண்டு தென்மண்டலத்தில் 10 ஆயிரம் பணியிடங்கள் நிரப்பப்பட உள்ளன. அதில் 8,500 காவலர் பணியிடங்கள், மீதம் 1,500 பணியிடங்களில் கீழ்நிலை எழுத்தாளர்கள், வருமான வரி ஆய்வாளர்கள், சுங்க ஆய்வாளர்கள் உள்ளிட்டப் பணிகள் அடங்கும். 

 குறைவான விண்ணப்பங்கள்: 

               மத்திய பணியாளர் தேர்வாணையத்தின் பணிகளுக்கு உத்தரப் பிரதேசம், பிகார், ராஜஸ்தான், மத்தியப் பிரதேசம் உள்ளிட்ட வட  மாநிலங்களில் இருந்துதான் அதிக இளைஞர்கள் விண்ணப்பிக்கின்றனர். சுமார் 70 சதவீதம் விண்ணப்பங்கள் வட மாநில இளைஞர்களிடம் இருந்துதான் பெறப்படுகின்றன. தென் மண்டலத்திலிருந்து குறைவான விண்ணப்பங்களே பெறப்படுகின்றன. எனவே அதிகமான அளவில் இளைஞர்கள் விண்ணப்பிக்க முன் வர வேண்டும். அதிகமானோர் விண்ணப்பித்தால்தான் அதிக பேருக்கு வேலைவாய்ப்பு கிடைக்கும்.  

தமிழில் விளம்பரம்... 

                  தென் மண்டலத்திலிருந்து அதிக அளவில் விண்ணப்பங்களைப் பெற தமிழ் மற்றும் ஆந்திர நாளிதழ்களில் அந்தந்த மொழிகளில் விளம்பரப்படுத்தத் திட்டமிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.  

இணையதளம் மூலம்... 

             இணையதளம் மூலம் விண்ணப்பிக்கும் முறை 2010 ஜனவரி மாதத்திலிருந்து நடைமுறையில் உள்ளது. நாடு முழுவதும் இதுவரை 20 லட்சம் பேர் இணையதளத்தில் விண்ணப்பித்துள்ளனர். தென் மண்டலத்தைப் பொருத்தவரை, 1.22 லட்சம் பேர் இணையதளத்தில் விண்ணப்பித்துள்ளனர். இணையதளம் மூலம் விண்ணப்பிக்கும் முறைக்கு இளைஞர்களிடம் நல்ல வரவேற்பு உள்ளது.  மத்திய பணியாளர் தேர்வாணையத்தின் மூலம் நடைபெறும் தேர்வுகள், முடிவுகள் உள்ளிட்ட விவரங்களையும் இணையதளத்தில் தெரிந்து கொள்ளலாம். தேர்வு முடிவுகள், தனி நபர் பெற்ற மதிப்பெண் உள்ளிட்ட முழுத் தகவல்களும் இணையதளத்தில் வெளியிடப்படும் என்றார் அவர்.
