Eligible marks to join Engineering courses

The Government has announced the minimum marks for the admission under the Government quota through the single window counseling. For the Management quota seats in the Engineering colleges that come under Anna University,  this minimum eligible mark remains unchanged. Other Community (OC): A minimum of 55% in the subjects  Maths, Physics and Chemistry. Backward Community, Backward Class (Christians), Backward Class (Muslims): A minimum of 50% in the subjects like Maths, Physics and Chemistry. Most Backward Community and De-notified Community:  A minimum of 45% in the subjects  Maths, Physics and Chemistry. SC/ST: A pass  in the subjects  Maths, Physics and Chemistry is sufficient. Eligibility criteria for Marine Engineering courses                     Students willing to join Marine Engineering degree course should get a minimum average of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Apart from this, the student should have secured 50% marks in English in the 10th or 12th standard exams. The Director General of Shipping has said that this norm is applicable to all the communities Eligible marks to join MBBS and BDS              Students should have studied the group comprising the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology or Physics, Chemistry, Biology and any other subject in +2. Students must have passed in the first attempt. OC:   1. Should have scored 60% in Biology or 60% in Zoology and Botany together. 2. Should have scored 60% in Physics and Chemistry (in each subjects). 3. Should have an aggregate of 140 out of 200 in the above-mentioned subjects  BC:   1. Should have scored 60% in Biology or 60% in Zoology and Botany together. 2. Should have scored 60% in Physics and Chemistry (in each subjects). 3. Should have an aggregate of 130 out of 200 in the above mentioned 3 subjects  MBC and Denotified Communities:   1. Should have scored 55% in Biology or 55% in Zoology and Botany together. 2. Should have scored 55% in Physics and Chemistry (in each subjects). 3. Should have an aggregate of 120 out of 200 in the above mentioned 3 subjects  SC/ST:   1. Should have scored 40% in Biology or 40% in Zoology and Botany together. 2. Should have scored 40% in Physics and Chemistry (in each subjects). 3. Should have an aggregate of 80 out of 200 in the above mentioned 3 subjects. Though re-exams (Improvement Exams) are written to score better marks, the first attempt marks alone would be taken into consideration. Improvement marks will not be taken into consideration. Vocational group students are not eligible to apply for MBBS/BDS courses. Agri Business Management Eligibility: Should have studied the following subjects in +2.  1. Should have studied Maths or Botany or Biology as the first subject. 2. Physics should be studied as the second subject. 3. Chemistry should be studied as the third subject. Should have studied the group with Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Computer Science or Statistics or Bio-Chemistry or Home Science as the fourth subject.  Should have studied the group with Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology as the fourth subject. Should have studied in the group with Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science or Microbiology, Bio-technology, Bio-chemistry, Nursing, Nutritional Dietetics as the fourth subjects.  Other Communities, Backward Communities, Backward Communities (Christian), Backward Communities (Muslims) should secure 60% of marks in the four required subjects.  Most Backward and De-notified Communities should obtain 55% of marks in the mentioned subjects.   Schedule Castes and Schedule Tribes, a pass in the mentioned four subjects is sufficient.     Educational Qualifications to join Veterinary University         Eligibility for the UG Courses offered by Tamilnadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS):  1. Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH) / Bachelor of Fisheries Science (BFSc) OC: 1. Should have scored 60% in Biology or 60% in Zoology and Botany together. 2. Should have scored 60% in Physics and Chemistry (in each subjects). 3. Should have an aggregate of 140 out of 200 in the above-mentioned subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology). BC: 1. Should have scored 60% in Biology or 60% in Zoology and Botany together. 2. Should have scored 60% in Physics and Chemistry (in each subjects). 3. Should have an aggregate of 130 out of 200 in the above mentioned subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology). SC/ST:   A pass in +2 is sufficient.   Eligibility for IITs              A candidate can attempt Joint Entrance Examination (IIT JEE) only twice, in consecutive years. The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized Central/State Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi; etc.   Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.   Final Examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy.    General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.    High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University.    Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in any foreign country recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to the 10+2 system.    H.S.C. Vocational Examination.    Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects.    3 or 4-year Diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education.    In case the relevant qualifying examination is not a public examination, the candidate must have passed at least one public (Board or Pre-University) examination at an earlier level. Eligibility Criteria in Qualifying Examination:                Candidates belonging to General (GE), Other Backward Classes (OBC) and DS categories must secure at least 60% marks in aggregate in their Qualifying Examination. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Physically Disabled (PD) categories must secure at least 55% marks in aggregate in the Qualifying Examination. If any Board awards only letter grades without providing an equivalent percentage of marks on the grade sheet, the candidate should obtain a certificate from the Board specifying the equivalent marks, and submit it at the time of counselling.   Special  Requirements  for  Mining Engineering and Mining Machinery Courses:               Candidates opting for these courses should make sure that they do not have any form of colour blindness. They will be required to submit a certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner to this effect at the time of counselling. The standard of visual acuity with or without glasses will be adhered to strictly for candidates seeking admission to Mining Engineering. Persons with one-eyed vision are not permitted to work underground. Candidates with above limitations are not allowed to opt for admission to Mining Engineering or Mining Machinery Engineering.  Female Candidates for Mining Courses:                  Female candidates are not admitted to Mining Engineering and Mining Machinery Engineering at ISMU, Dhanbad, whereas the corresponding programmes at IIT Kharagpur and IT-BHU, Varanasi, have no such restriction. Eligibility for Legal studies in Tamilnadu   The details of educational qualification essential to join in the B.A., B.L. five years integrated courses  in Tamil Nadu law colleges. 1. B.A., B.L., (5 years)   Should have scored not less than 45% marks in +2. The marks scored in the language subjects will not be considered for admission.  The students of SC/ST community should have scored a minimum of 40%. Those who are  employed cannot apply for this course.  2. B.A., B.L., Hons (5 years) Should have scored not less than 70% marks in +2. The students of SC/ST community should have scored a minimum of 60%.

பி.இ. ரேங்க் பட்டியலில் 29 பேர் 200-க்கு 200

            பி.இ. படிப்புகளில் 2010-11-ம் ஆண்டில் சேருவதற்கு விண்ணப்பித்த மாணவர்களில் 29 பேர் 200-க்கு 200 கட்ஆஃப் மதிப்பெண் பெற்றுள்ளனர்.  இவர்களில் 22 மாணவர்கள், 7 மாணவிகள் அடங்குவர். பி.இ. படிப்புகளுக்கு விண்ணப்பித்த 1.67 லட்சம் மாணவர்களில் தகுதிபெற்ற 1.62 லட்சம் மாணவர்களுக்கான ரேங்க் பட்டியலை சென்னை அண்ணா பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் உயர்கல்வி அமைச்சர் க. பொன்முடி வெள்ளிக்கிழமை வெளியிட்டார்.

                 உயர்கல்வி முதன்மை செயலர் க. கணேசன், தொழில்நுட்பக் கல்வி ஆணையர் குமார் ஜெயந்த், பல்கலைக்கழகத் துணைவேந்தர் மன்னர் ஜவஹர், பொறியியல் சேர்க்கை செயலர் ரைமண்ட் உத்தரியராஜ், இயக்குநர் நாகராஜன் உள்ளிட்டோர் உடனிருந்தனர். பி.இ. படிப்புகளுக்கு விண்ணப்பித்த 1,67,406 மாணவர்களில் 4,900 பேரின் விண்ணப்பங்கள் தகுதி நீக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டன. சான்றிதழ்கள் இணைக்கப்படாதது, தவறான தகவல் அளித்தது உள்ளிட்ட காரணங்களால் அவை தகுதி நீக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டன. அதன்படி, பொதுப்பிரிவில் 1,56,700 மாணவர்கள், தொழிற்பிரிவில் 5,806 மாணவர்கள் என மொத்தம் 1,62,506 மாணவர்கள் தகுதி பெற்றுளள்ளனர். பொதுப் பிரிவு மாணவர்களில் முற்பட்ட வகுப்பைச் சேர்ந்த 13,075 மாணவர்கள், பிற்படுத்தப்பட்ட வகுப்பைச் சேர்ந்த 76,471, பிற்படுத்தப்பட்டோர் முஸ்லிம் வகுப்பைச் சேர்ந்த 7,449, மிகவும் பிற்படுத்தப்பட்டோர் வகுப்பைச் சேர்ந்த 37,959, தாழ்த்தப்பட்டோர் (எஸ்.சி.) வகுப்பைச் சேர்ந்த 19,173, தாழ்த்தப்பட்ட அருந்ததி (எஸ்.சி.ஏ.) வகுப்பைச் சேர்ந்த 2,066, பழங்குடியினர் (எஸ்.டி.) வகுப்பைச் சேர்ந்த 507 மாணவர்களும் அடங்குவர்.29 பேர் 200-க்கு 200:   பொதுப் பிரிவு மாணவர்களில் 29 மாணவர்கள் 200-க்கு 200 கட்ஆஃப் மதிப்பெண் பெற்றுள்ளனர். இவர்களில் பிற்படுத்தப்பட்ட பிரிவைச் சேர்ந்த 7 பேர், மிகவும் பிற்படுத்தப்பட்ட பிரிவைச் சேர்ந்த 3 மாணவர்கள் என மொத்தம் 10 பேர் கணிதம், இயற்பியல், வேதியியல், 4-வது விருப்பப் பாடம் (உயிரியல், கணினி அறிவியல் என ஏதேனும் ஒரு பாடம்) ஆகிய 4 பாடங்களிலும் தலா 200 மதிப்பெண் பெற்றுள்ளனர். அதனால் இவர்கள் பி.இ. ரேங்க் பட்டியலில் முதல் 10 சிறப்பிடங்களைப் பெற்றுள்ளனர்.

                 மீதியுள்ள 19 மாணவர்கள் கணிதம், இயற்பியல், வேதியியல் ஆகிய 3 பாடங்களில் மட்டுமே 200-க்கு 200 கட்ஆஃப் மதிப்பெண் பெற்றுள்ளனர். முதல் 10 சிறப்பிடங்களைப் பெற்றவர்கள்: திருப்பூர் எஸ். நந்தகுமார், ஈரோடு பி. அபிநயா, சேலம் பி. சரவணன், தூத்துக்குடி ஆர். பாண்டியன், விழுப்புரம் மாவட்டம் கண்டாச்சிபுரத்தைச் சேர்ந்த ஜி.ஆர். கெüதம், திருப்பூர் ஆர். சதீஷ்குமார், ஈரோடு செல்வமலை முத்துக்குமரன், வேலூர் மாவட்டம், பணப்பாக்கத்தைச் சேர்ந்த எஸ். விஷ்ணுபிரியா, சென்னை எம். தினேஷ், திருவண்ணாமலை போளூரைச் சேர்ந்த  ஆர். விக்னேஸ்வரன் ஆகிய 10 பேர் முதல் 10 இடங்களைப் பெற்றுள்ளனர். இவர்கள் அனைத்துப் பாடங்களிலும் ஒரே மாதிரியான மதிப்பெண்ணை பெற்றிருந்ததால் அவர்களின் பிறந்த தேதியை வைத்து ரேங்க் தரப்பட்டுள்ளது.

பி.இ.ரேங்க் பட்டியல் வெளியீடு: பல்லடம் மாணவர் முதலிடம்

                 பொறியியல் படிப்புகளுக்கான தரவரிசைப் பட்டியலை உயர்கல்வித்துறை அமைச்சர் பொன்முடி வெளியிட்டார்.

 

                  தரவரிசைப் பட்டியலில் பல்லடத்தைச் சேர்ந்த நந்தகுமார் முதல் இடத்தைப் பெற்றுள்ளார். ஈரோட்டைச் சேர்ந்த அபிநயா இரண்டாமிடத்தையும், சேலம் ஆத்தூரைச் சேர்ந்த சரவணன் மூன்றாமிடத்தையும் பெற்றுள்ளனர். கட்-ஆஃப் மதிப்பெண்களில் 29 மாணவர்கள் 200க்கு 200 மதிப்பெண்கள் பெற்றுள்ளனர். தரவரிசைப் பட்டியலை வெளியிட்ட அமைச்சர், பொறியியல் படிப்புகளுக்கு திட்டமிட்டபடி கலந்தாய்வு நடத்த அனைத்து ஏற்பாடுகளையும் தமிழக அரசு செய்துவருவதால் மாணவர்கள் கவலை அடையத் தேவையில்லை எனக் குறிப்பிட்டார். பொறியியல் படிப்புகளுக்கு விண்ணப்பித்தவர்களில் 1,62,506 விண்ணப்பங்கள் தகுதி உடையதாக இருப்பது கண்டறியப்பட்டதாக அமைச்சர் தெரிவித்தார். பட்டியல் வெளியீட்டு நிகழ்ச்சியில் உயர்கல்வித் துறை முதன்மைச் செயலர் கணேசன், தொழில்நுட்பக் கல்வி ஆணையர் குமார்ஜெயந்த், அண்ணா பல்கலைக்கழக துணைவேந்தர் மன்னர் ஜவஹர் உள்ளிட்டோர் கலந்துகொண்டனர்.
