CUDDALORE:
Forest Department officials rescued an eight-foot-long crocodile from a pond in Jayamkondam village near Chidambaram on Saturday. Those who went to the pond in the morning noticed the reptile and raised an alarm. On information, the Forest Department officials went there and rescued the crocodile, weighing over 250 kg. They later released it into a water source at Vakkiramari, about 15 km from Chidambaram.
