Chennai:
Tamil Nadu has decided to go in for teakwood plantation drive in eight districts. The drive would be launched in 6,475 hectares in Cuddalore, Karur, Tiruchi, Thanjavur, Nagapattinam, Tiruvarur, Perambalur and Tirunelveli in the current year and over Rs 6.8 crore has been earmarked for the purpose, an official release said.
