CUDDALORE:
Collector P. Seetharaman, along with Superintendent of Police Ashwin Kotnis, on Friday inspected Periyar Government Arts College, which will be designated as a counting centre for the Assembly elections. The Collector told presspersons that votes polled in the four Assembly constituencies of Cuddalore, Panruti, Kurinjipadi and Neyveli would be counted at this centre. Setting up of a strong room, barricades and posting of security personnel at the centre were reviewed and a report would be sent to the Election Commission in two days. Mr. Kotnis said 100 police personnel would be posted to guard the centre.
