A large number of people had an early “Jothi darshan” at Sathya Gnana Sabai, established by Ramalinga Adigalar (popularly known as ‘Vallalar'), at Vadalur on Thursday. Health Minister M.R.K. Panneerselvam was present.
Special bus services were operated to help people from various parts of the district and neighbouring districts to reach Vadalur, sources said. Superintendent of Police Ashwin Kotnis made elaborate security arrangements at the venue. Service organisations and philanthropists set up “pandals” for serving drinking water, buttermilk and packed food to visitors.
