Photo session for ID cards begins

CUDDALORE: 

           The exercise of taking photographs of self-help group members for issuing identity cards began in Cuddalore district on Tuesday.

        In a statement here, Collector P. Seetharaman said that the photo session would be held to cover the members of 4,564 SHGs started under the aegis of the ‘Mahalir Thittam' and ‘Vazhnthu Kattuvom Thittam' after April 1, 2009.

While the SHGs in Cuddalore were covered on Tuesday, the schedule for other areas is as follows: 

Anna Gramam – February 2; 

Panruti –February 3;

Khammapuram –February 4;

Prangipettai – February 5; 

Nallur and Vriddhachalam – February 6; 

Kurinjipadi – February 7; 

Keerapalayam – February 8; 

Bhuvanagiri – February 9; 

Kattumannarkoil – February 10; 

Mangalore – February 11 and

Kumaratchi – February 12.
