CUDDALORE:
A tipper lorry carrying red soil lost control and hit three electric posts, pulling them down in the early hours on Wednesday. The vehicle also hit the main gate and a portion of the compound wall of Kandasamy Naidu College for Women here.
The name board mounted on the entrance of the college came down. The lorry came to a halt after hitting the trees inside the college. Driver Rajesh (23) of Unnamalaichetti Chavadi near Kondur was killed in the impact. Cleaner Jothimani (25) of Vilangampettai suffered injuries and was admitted to the government hospital.
