CUDDALORE:
A handloom exhibition has been organised in Roop Mini Hall on Car Street here under the aegis of the Central Handloom Development Corporation and the Department of Handlooms and Textiles.
The exhibition was inaugurated on Wednesday by Collector P.Seetharaman . It showcases handloom products such as silk saris from Kancheepurm and Aarani, lungis from Kurinjipadi and Kudiatham, Kovai cotton saris, Erode bedsheets, etc. The government will offer a rebate of 30 per cent on every purchase till November 3.
