CUDDALORE:
A delegation of the opposition parties will meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi on Friday and take up with him the issue of the contract workmen of the Neyveli Lignite Corporation.
The delegation would include Gurudas Dasgupta of the Communist Party of India, T.K. Rengarajan of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), S. Semmalai and M. Anandan of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, T. Velmurugan of the Pattali Makkal Katchi, Ganeshamurthy of the Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam and C.V. Shanmugham of the Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam. Mr. Velmurugan told The Hindu that the Prime Minister had given appointment at 6.30 p.m. on Friday to meet the delegation.
