Man drowns near Panruti

CUDDALORE: 

                  Elumalai (60) drowned in a pond at Varakkalpattu near Panruti on Friday. Police sources said that he drowned while plucking lotus from the pond. Water level and slush had risen following the recent rain , sources said.
