CUDDALORE:
A nursing student R. Subashini (22) died of burns in her house at Block No.24 of the Neyveli Township near here on Wednesday.
Police sources said that she was studying first year nursing course in a private college at Tiruchi. She had come to Neyveli to spend her holiday with her father, who is an employee of a fair price shop at Panruti. According to sources, neighbours heard cries from the house and rushed there to see Subashini lying on the ground with burns. She died even before she could be taken to hospital. Some of her agitated relatives, suspecting involvement of a contractor in the incident, attacked his house and car.
