CUDDALORE:
Monitoring officer V.K. Jayakodi inspected the implementation of various welfare schemes in Cuddalore district on Tuesday.
Accompanied by Collector P. Seetharaman and other officials, Mr. Jayakodi went to Singirikudi to inspect the houses built under the Indira Awaz Yojana and a library under the Anaithu Grama Anna Marumalarchi Thittam. Later, Mr. Jayakodi checked the houses being built under the Kalaignar Housing Schme at Madanaipattu and Nanamedu. At Uchimedu, he ascertained the progress of road works taken up under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme. Later, reviewing the progress of works at the Collectorate, Mr. Jayakodi directed the officials to complete all the projects within the timeframe.
