CUDDALORE:
The walls of at least 15 houses located at Reddiarpettai, about 25 km from here, developed cracks after lightning stuck a cluster of dwelling units here in the early hours of Saturday. At least 50 families are living in the habitations at Reddiarpettai. Soon after the lightning struck, power supply was disrupted. Electronic devices such as a television sets, refrigerator and fan in a house were completely damaged. Several trees in the area were also struck by lightning.
