Oil firm launches mobile clinic

 

New facility: The mobile clinic being launched in Cuddalore on Friday.

CUDDALORE: 

                 The Nagarjuna Oil Corporation Ltd. launched a mobile clinic on its project site here on Friday. It is aimed at providing primary healthcare to people living in villages such as Kambalimedu, Periyakuppam, Pettodai, Aiyampettai, Puthiravalli, Poochimedu and Thiruchopuram. Managing Director of the company S. Rammohan flagged off the mobile clinic in the presence of Deputy Director (Health) R. Meera. A medical team from Krishna Hospital, Cuddalore, will be inducted for service. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rammohan said that Nagarjuna Oil Corporation Ltd., a subsidiary of the Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd., was focused on pursuing opportunities in oil and gas domain. It was committed to the development of communities in and around the project site. The corporate social responsibility of the company was inspired by the Nagarjuna Group's motto “serving society through industry.” To begin with, the company was working on community development with a focus on education and primary healthcare. The company had recently launched a merit awards programme, he added.
