CUDDALORE:
A gun in the possession of a security guard posted at a bank located on Netaji Road in Manjakuppam area went off accidentally on Monday. However, no one was injured and no damage was caused to property. Police said that Palani, who formerly served in the Central Reserve Police Force, was employed as security guard in the bank. He said that his gun accidentally went off and the bullet hit the ceiling.
