CUDDALORE:
The State government should throw open the southern entrance to the Nataraja Temple at Chidambaram that remains closed for centuries.
A demand in this regard was made by the Tamil Maanila Vivasaya Thozhilalargal Sangam (State wing of the Bharatiya Kheth Mazdoor Union owing allegiance to the Communist Party of India) at the State-level conference on untouchability organised at the temple town recently.The resolution was passed in the presence of the CPI leaders R. Nallakannu, T. Pandian, D. Raja, MP, T. Manivasagam and M. Sekar.
